Miss Large and Mrs. Elphick challenged the class to create an apparatus to protect a raw egg. After working with a variety of materials in order to keep the egg safe, they had to hope their eggs survived a series of drops increasing in height. A majority of the groups were successful! Students were challenged to build the tallest tower with nothing more than newspaper and tape... Here are the two wining groups. Jakob's group almost gave up, but pulled it together at the last moment. Amir's group originally planned on a whiteboard, but then methodically built their tower. Each group worked so well together! Way to go! “Let their remembrance be as lasting as the land they honored.” —Daniel Webster Reminder: All LVA Buildings will be closed on May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. Thank you.
