We are so excited to launch the official blog of Lehigh Valley Academy Region
al Charter School (LVA). We are looking forward to being able to share information about our school, the International Baccalaureate Programme, hot topics in the field of education and charter schools.

Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School is a K-12 public charter school that opened its doors in 2002. In the last 15 years, LVA has accomplished a lot! Lehigh Valley Academy is the only school in the area to have been authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).
LVA is also accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA), was named the Number 1 Top Workplace in the Lehigh Valley by the Morning Call in 2014, and has been ranked as one of the top high schools and one of the top charter schools in Pennsylvania by US News and World Reports for the last five years.
These accomplishments would not have been possible without the hard work of all of our stakeholders. I am thrilled that this blog will give them a platform to share their thoughts and amazing ideas with you.
